Level I Pistol Proficiency is based in handgun fundamentals and oriented toward defensive use of the weapon. If you have no experience, or 40 years of experience, you will come away with greater confidence and a better understanding of your ability! He/she will learn the basic gun-handling skills and advanced necessary to safely operate, and maintain, this weapon system. Instruction will include the deployment and application of this platform for personal defense, Self Aid and Buddy Aid based on the basic skills and fundamental of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)

Course duration: 2 days (16 + hours)

Course tuition: $ 200.00

(Tuition fee includes all range fees and use of loaner firearms)

Course student limit: 16

Student requirements: Note pad and pen, eye protection, ear protection, baseball type cap, Pistol, 3 magazines, elbow pads, knee pads and gun cleaning kit.

(Body armor is optional unless it is required by your agency during firearms training)

Recommended equipment: Holster, magazine carriers, rain gear, sunscreen, insect repellent, hydration system, water and clothing suitable for contact with the ground.

Ammunition requirements: 800 rounds ammunition (Ammunition is available for purchase upon request ahead of time)

Ammunition must be new manufacture (Federal, Remington, Winchester, etc.)

Absolutely no reloaded or remanufactured ammunition!
