With its unmatched performance, the Warrior is an ideal blood or fluid warming solution for mid- to long-haul pre-hospital transports, inter-facility transports, and a hospital’s emergency department, where simplicity and portability are critical attributes. The Warrior’s high-performance level makes a huge difference in environments in which rapid bolus flows are applied in an intermittent fashion by push-pull or hand pump resuscitation methods.
The Warrior EXTREME is the DoD version of the Warrior Base Unit. The performance of both devices is identical. The key differences are in the certification and compliance framework: the Warrior EXTREME complies with MIL-STD 461G RE102 and RS103 and is certified for higher Ingress Protection (IP) rating (IP56 vs. IP33).
The Warrior and Warrior EXTREME share the same accessories and they utilize the same consumable used by all other Warrior models.

The Warrior and Warrior EXTREME are a 3-part system composed of a controller (Base Unit, or “BU”), battery, and per-patient warmer (Compact Disposable Unit, or “CDU”). Several accessories are offered to optimize the offering for specific operating environments, such as a mount accessory and extension cable. Assembly is simple and fail-safe and takes seconds to accomplish. Blood or fluids will be warmed almost from the first drop, even at high resuscitation rates. An LCD display always reflects the incoming and outgoing blood or fluid temperature. The consumable’s fluid path is aluminum-free, thus eliminating toxicity concerns associated with aluminum. Instead, the consumable uses patented medical grade stainless steel warming technology. The efficiency of our technology ensures immediate warming. The system measures the blood or fluids’ temperature a few hundred times per second and automatically adjusts the heating to ensure 38°C (±2°C) output. Thus, the Warrior and Warrior EXTREME handles rapid bolus flows generated by push-pull, hand pump, syringe, or other flow-inducing devices such as LifeFlow™, which are common in trauma and emergency medical settings, exceptionally well. The technology has been perfected over >100,000 utilizations.
